Getting Started
Who is Dailyhuman?
Dailyhuman is a company based in NYC that focuses on boosting engagement and mental health through its learning and development software.
When I joined in 2018, the company was ready to pivot its direction, offering me the perfect chance to blend my design skills with a mission centered on personal wellness.
Shifting Focus
The challenge was to move from a food credit sharing platform to a tool that helps colleagues connect meaningfully, especially important in a post-pandemic world where maintaining relationships was tougher than ever.
Creating the Solution
I led the redesign of our brand identity and revamped the app’s interface. Through user research and team collaboration, we introduced features like appreciation games and personalized engagement tools that made interactions more meaningful and enjoyable.
Reframing the Narrative
From an app for sending restaurant credits, Dailyhuman pivoted into facilitating weekly appreciation games among work colleagues, thereby fostering deeper connections.
Users yearned for better connections with their work colleagues. As more teams were created by coworkers, it was clear that Dailyhuman needed to build a platform fostering meaningful engagement among peers.
Results that matter
This pivot increased user engagement and strengthened the sense of community among workers. The platform now effectively supports mental well-being and enhances workplace relationships, perfectly aligning with Dailyhuman’s mission to enrich everyday experiences.
